In order to be a member, you must work in a registered UK charity, and either be a legal professional or a person on the path to becoming a qualified lawyer.
LinC membership fees are charged as a fixed fee, on a per charity basis, irrespective of the number of in-house lawyers in the respective charity. There is no limit on the number of individual members that may join from any one charity.
The fee charged depends on the charity’s turnover as follows:
Type of charity/membership | Membership fee |
Charities with a turnover of less than £25 million per year | £50 per charity per year |
Charities with a turnover of between £25 million and £100 million per year | £100 per charity per year |
Charities with a turnover of more than £100 million per year | £200 per charity per year |
Individual members | £50 per individual per year |
LinC membership fees enable us to update and maintain our website and its resources, including the knowledge repository.
Please note that by becoming a member:
- your name and organisation will be listed in the Members Area of the LinC website (which will only seen by other LinC members; and
- you will be able to subscribe to our various mailing distribution lists.
